OPERATIONS DIRECTOR/OWNER

Many of our customers know about the years of dedicated service, experience, and performance that Roger Ensley has brought to the Kansas City area. With over 40 years in the locksmith industry, he has held multiple titles and roles with leading locksmithing and physical security technology organizations in Kansas City. He has held a Certified Registered Locksmith Certification from Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), along with holding multiple leadership positions withing the local locksmiths association. He successfully ran his own company Ensley and Son’s Security (ESS) for over 30 years in the Kansas City area. Developing and training many of todays local best in the industry. This is to include his son, Jon Ensley, CPP, PSP. 

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR/LEAD CONSULTANT

Jon started out in the locksmith business as soon as Roger could teach him to screw in a deadbolt. Many probably saw him and his brother on jobsites over the years. By the time Jon was a teen, he was running wire and installing access control systems. He continued to use this work part-time throughout his career. However, after spending time in the Army, and completing degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology, Jon spent several years working primarily in protective services and personnel security, primarily handling active threat workplace violence cases, or increased risk locations. Jon excelled at providing clients efficient and cost effective services to reduce risk, keep their employees safe, and maintain business operations in difficult environments. This included working in various consulting and project management roles, earning multiple certifications, to include Certified Protection Professional (ESI), Certified Protection Professional, CPP and PSP, Physical Security Professional from ASIS International. As he developed his skills, he learned the joy of teaching and helping others succeed at their work. Jon started teaching various courses in 2008 and eventually began teaching security professionals. With almost 15 years of adult learning and education experience, he brings a unique style when consulting and working with clients. 

Information and Cyber Program Manager

Many of our customers have probably seen another one of Rogers protégées in the last 10 years. Kendall Hyatte started working with Roger as a teenager and rapidly developed a strong aptitude for the security industry, while taking an updated approach. As a primarily self-taught cyber security and IT professional. Kendall developed a deep understanding of the technology (software and hardware) that connects our security systems together, and the data they protect and collect. Working in multiple guard, locksmithing, and access control technician roles in the last 10 years. Kendall brings an updated understanding of the new generation of threats, vulnerabilities, and risks that our customers face.
